Request for updated dmidecode to version 2.11
Issue
- New SMBIOS version is not supported in dmidecode 2.10 based dmidecode packages from RHEL5 and RHEL6, leading to dmidecode not beeing able to read all BIOS informations eg. for HW monitoring systems:
# dmidecode 2.10
SMBIOS 2.7 present.
# SMBIOS implementations newer than version 2.6 are not
# fully supported by this version of dmidecode.
