CUPS is giving error 'client-error-not-possible' while adding a printer in RHEL 5

Issue

While trying to add a new printer, the following error message may appear in a pop-up window:

  • CUPS server error

    There was an error during the CUPS
    operation: 'client-error-not-possible'
