Are the boost libraries in RHEL 8 built with multithreading -mt support?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • The upstream boost library naming documentation states that Each library filename is composed of a common sequence of elements that describe how it was built.
  • Boost libraries with -mt in the name indicates that the library was built with multithreading support enabled and libraries built without multithreading support can be identified by the absence of -mt.
  • On RHEL 8, the boost library and package names do not contain -mt. Are the boost libraries built for multithreading?

Environment
