Are the boost libraries in RHEL 8 built with multithreading -mt support?
Issue
- The upstream
boostlibrary naming documentation states that Each library filename is composed of a common sequence of elements that describe how it was built. - Boost libraries with
-mtin the name indicates that the library was built with multithreading support enabled and libraries built without multithreading support can be identified by the absence of-mt. - On RHEL 8, the
boostlibrary and package names do not contain-mt. Are the boost libraries built for multithreading?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8
