Why statefulsets do not failover when a node failure happens?
Issue
- Considering the set up below:
- Datacenter1: node1: pod1
- Datacenter2: node2: pod2
- Datacenter3: node3: pod3
- When a node failure happens, the pod is stuck on
terminatingstate and is not rescheduled to another node - Is not expected to have this pod rescheduled automatically to another node?
Environment
- Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) 3.x
- Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP) 4.x
