How to avoid running controller manager POD with root user in OpenShift 4

Issue

  • Is there any way to prevent controller manager POD be running with root user?
  • Organization policy does not allow use of root user within a POD and controller manager POD runs with root user.
[user@host ~]$ oc rsh -n openshift-controller-manager <controller-manager-POD_name> 
sh-4.2# id
uid=0(root) gid=0(root) groups=0(root)
