The crm_node -l and crm_node -p commands do not work inside a container within a bundle in a Pacemaker cluster

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • I'm trying to display the list of all known members in the cluster (crm_node -l) or the list of members of the current partition (crm_node -p), but the commands fail with the error below.
# crm_node -l
error: Could not connect to cluster (is it running?)

# crm_node -p
error: Could not connect to cluster (is it running?)

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (with the High Availability Add-on)
