Red Hat Gluster Storage - How to delete and recreate a Geo Replication session from scratch

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

On this document we will explain the steps required to stop, delete and recreate a new session from scratch, so all data on master volume will be synced / copied again to the slave volume.

Note. There is a known issue with geo-replication while working in Hybrid Crawl mode: the files deleted on the master volume are not deleted on the slave volume. This is not a bug, it is working as designed, hybrid crawl was designed to sync initial data in case master already has data before creating geo-rep session. If you want to gain space again on the slave volume, you can follow below procedure to resync again all data to slave volume.
