vgdisplay and vgs command dosen't list volume group

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

1) volume group "oraclevg" with 3 lv's & able to cd & touch but the vgs / vgdisplay doesnt recognize the volume group

2) https://access.redhat.com/site/solutions/40316 - i tried to clear the lvm cache & rebuild it but still its the same issue.

3) we had another system in similar situation & after a reboot the whole volume group was lost with data
