Time lag between the time a last task is completed and the business-central-server is aware of the committed transaction in JBoss BRMS 5

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

It seems like there is a time lag between the time a last task (Human Task) is completed for a process instance and when business-central-server is aware of the committed transaction in the following set:

1) Application is consuming rest services provided via business-central-server.
2) The last task (Human Task) is completed and "ideally" the process instance just completed, then nothing should return by querying the business-central-server for instances of the work process definition, for example:

business-central-serve/rs/process/definition/{id}/instances

However, the query is still returning the process instance.

Note: Completing last task and querying for instances happens sequentially.
