JBoss EAP management plug-in can discover same server twice if started using symbolic link
Issue
- Duplicate resource inventoried
- displaying the new view as
- Discovery queue displaying resources which are already inventoried
- Same server discovered under two different resource keys
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.1.2
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 5 management plug-in
- JBoss EAP server resource which is already in inventory started using a different path then originally started
/opt/jboss/jboss-eap-5/jboss-as/bin/run.sh -c defaultthen later using a symbolic link like/opt/jboss/bin/run.sh -c default
- Discovery queue contains a JBoss EAP resource in the
NEWinventory state for which a resource has already been imported
