Issue

  • created below udev rule for setting permission for /dev/sdX devices.
$  /etc/udev/rules.d/95-hadoop-disks.rules
KERNEL=="sd*", SUBSYSTEM=="block", ENV{DEVTYPE}=="disk", ENV{ID_SERIAL}=="3600605b005ddcdb019607f39fe8d975e", OWNER="hdp9adm", GROUP="hdp9adms", MODE="0660"
  • After configuring udev rule ownership and timestamp of block device changing automatically.
