Availability duration alert in JON is triggered if availability state changes multiple times even if duration was not satisfied

Issue

  • Alert is triggered when condition is not met
  • Availability duration alert is triggered when duration has not elapsed
  • Availability duration alert is triggered after 10 minutes although the resource was not down for that period of time.

Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.1.2
  • Resource alert definition with Availability Duration condition type
  • Resource availability matches alert's condition 2 or more times within the availability duration value
  • Resource availability duration for a single availability period does not match or exceed the availability duration value
