oc adm inspect and oc adm must-gather do not report 'all' in relatedObjects

Issue

  • When running oc adm must-gather command, you will see the following error message: error: gather never finished for pod must-gather-xxx: timed out waiting for the condition

    #  oc adm must-gather

    [must-gather      ] OUT clusterrolebinding.rbac.authorization.k8s.io/must-gather-xxxx deleted
    [must-gather      ] OUT namespace/openshift-must-gather-xxxx deleted
    error: gather never finished for pod must-gather-xxxx: timed out waiting for the condition
    
  • When running oc adm inspect clusteroperator/monitoring command, you will see the following error message: skipping gathering all/openshift-monitoring due to error: the server doesn't have a resource type "all".

    # oc adm inspect clusteroperator/monitoring
