Newly installed Kernel panic with " FATAL: could not load /lib/modules/<kernel version>/modules/modules.dep: no such- file or directory"
Issue
- System panics on reboot with the message " FATAL: could not load /lib/modules/
/modules/modules.dep" - System unable to reboot after updating the initrd with vmware tools.
