JBoss admin-console UI content panel shrinks or is empty when using IE 7 or IE 7 Compatibility Mode

Issue

  • When I try to look at certain parts of the Admin UI via Internet Explorer 8 the deployer portlet shrinks.

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 5.0, 5.1.0, 5.1.1, 5.1.2
  • JBoss Enterprise SOA Platform (SOA-P) 5.1.0
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 7, 8
  • IE running in IE 7 Compatibility Mode
