After adding OpenLDAP multimaster node, many entries deleted

Issue

  • adding third LDAP server to multi-master replication
    • the server database has been populated importing ldif file generated on existing LDAP server
  • since that time, many dn records have started to be deleted

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
    • openldap package
