Provider network DHCP lease to the VM works but VXLAN network DHCP does not work

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • We are configuring OSP16 overcloud via director. The configuration includes virtual Controller and Networker nodes running on RHV with physical compute nodes. Everything works with provider networks. With tenant (VXLAN) network - DHCP IP is assigned to the VM but the DHCP exchange never happens and the VM NIC is not configured. If we manually assign an IP to the VM interface, connectivity works as expected. It appears just DHCP is not working and VMs are not able to get their IP on instantiation.

Environment
