New Hypervisor hosts can't be added to Cluster because of failure to connect to storage domain

Issue

  • Added three new hosts to RHV cluster
  • Hosts cannot be activated because of problems connecting to the storage domain

  • Errors seen in VDSM log:

    # grep "Permission denied" /var/log/vdsm/vdsm.log
IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/dev/aaaaaaaa-bbbb-cccc-dddd-eeeeeeeeeeee/metadata'

  • How can the new hosts be made fully functional?
