qemu crashes when doing a snapshot live merge
Issue
When doing a live snapshot merge, the qemu process fails with the error below and the merge fails, leaving some images in ILLEGAL status.
qemu-kvm: block/io.c:1372: bdrv_aligned_pwritev: Assertion `child->perm & BLK_PERM_WRITE' failed.
