JBoss QueueExecutor does not throw RejectedExecutionException when dropping task

Issue

  • When an executor with a bounded queue and no configured hand off executor rejects a task, the executor should throw a RejectedExecutionException. JBoss QueueExecutor does not throw RejectedExecutionException when dropping task in this scenario however while a QueuelessExecutor does.

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6.1.1 and earlier
