RHEL6: kernel security update causes failures in VxFS
Issue
- Security update RHSA-2013:1173-1 introduces a change to
dentryflag causing failures in VeritasVxFS - After kernel update Veritas VxFS Snapshot feature which needs to check the dentry status does not perform as desired.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- kernel-2.6.32-358.18.1
- Veritas VxFS (possibly other 3rd party filesystems affected)
