Slow performance is observed with REST DSL component of Red Hat Fuse MicroService.

Issue

  • When a rest-dsl microservice is being load tested with 500 or more concurrent request, slowness is observed and for some requests total response time is increased to 100 seconds.
  • Underlying web-container is undertow. Issue doesn't occur with 40 to 50 concurrent requests.
  • It is observed that request are processed sequentially not concurrently by the MicroService deployed on OpenShift.
