What is the minimum number of nodes required in a GFS cluster to run with a redundant lock manager?
Updated -
Release found:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3
At least three nodes are required in a GFS cluster to tolerate the failure of the lock manager without losing access to the GFS file system. A 2-node GFS cluster will not have a redundant lock manager. If the node running the lock manager fails in a 2-node cluster, then the GFS will no longer work properly and the two nodes must be re-booted and must re-mount the GFS file system.
