Content host status in Red Hat Satellite WebUI shows unentitled or registration fails with error 'no enabled repositories'

Issue

On the Red Hat Satellite Web UI, status of the content host shows unentitled.
Content host is properly registered to the Red Hat Satellite Server but still not able to enable some repositories already added and enabled in the Activation key.

This system has no repositories available through subscriptions.
```

Similarly, the following error can also be observed while registering a host to Red Hat Satellite 6:

Error: There are no enabled repositories in "/etc/yum.repos.d", "/etc/yum/repos.d", "/etc/distro.repos.d".
Host initial configuration failed
