How to configure Object Storage on RHS to use a path other than /mnt/gluster-object for auto-mounting volumes?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

The /mnt directory is commonly used for temporary mounting filesystems. Red Hat Storage SWIFT uses subdirectories of /mnt/gluster-object for mounting volumes (or accounts) to access the data through the Object Storage API. This collides with other usages of /mnt and can cause unforeseen outages when /mnt is used like on traditional Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.

Environment

  • Red Hat Storage Server 2.1
  • SWIFT Object Storage
