Can `IT Client Manager CA Monitoring Agent` be installed with `sudo` credentials?

Issue

• Installing the IT Client Manager version 12.5 monitoring agent in Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and according to implementation indications this should install and execute as root user, which goes against any security regulation. Also, it also requires that root connect to the console.
• Already asked CA to find alternatives, is there any way to get this run by normal sudo user in Red Hat Enterprise Linux?
• The most obvious would be using permissions with sudo, but the CA says it is not supported.
