netcat returning "Bad file descriptor error" after a connection is made
Issue
- While running
nc -l 12345the message "Bad file descriptor error" is returned after a connection is made.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 with
- nmap-ncat-6.40-19.el7.x86_64
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 with
- nmap-ncat-7.70-5.el8.x86_64
- IPv6 has been completely disabled on the system
