In RHEL 6.4, while using a DisplayLink device with multiple monitors, the system reports the error "Cannot run in framebuffer mode. Please specify busID's for all framebuffer devices."
Issue
- While using the
xorg-x11-drv-fbdevwith a DisplayLink device works with a single monitor, when attempting to use 2 monitors (displaylink + LCD) the system may report the error from the X server:
Fatal server error:
Cannot run in framebuffer mode. Please specify busIDs for all framebuffer devices
