Need support in virtio-blk for trim/discard
Issue
- Need support in virtio-blk for trim/discard. This is the default in Openstack yet it is missing this key feature.
- Backport kernel patch https://lore.kernel.org/patchwork/patch/1028619/.
- To allow trimming in of erased sectors from the underlying storage. Mostly useful when virtio-blk is used with Ceph storage.
