Which RHN channel provides Apache Web Server (httpd) 2.2.22 ?

Issue

  • While attempting to install Apache Web Server (httpd) 2.2.22 (i.e. httpd-2.2.22-25.ep6.el6.x86_64.rpm package) through yum command in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x platform it is not able to find this package from jb-eap-6-for-rhel-6-server-rpms channel.
    The latest version of Apache Web Server (httpd) as of date is httpd-2.2.22-18.ep6.el6.x86_64 which fixes a number of security issues. Why is this version not in the above RHN repository?
  • How to ensure that it is always possible to install the latest patches for Apache Web Server (httpd) ?
  • Does Apache Web Server (httpd) 2.2.22 supports mod_cluster as well?
