Enabling EAP 6 datasource from JON fails due to: Service jboss.data-source-config is already registered
Issue
- Datasource configuration changes in group
- Configuration update on resource group fails
- Unable to enable datasource

Enable operation fails:
java.lang.Exception: JBAS014749: Operation handler failed: Service jboss.data-source-config.ExampleDS is already registered, rolled-back=true -
Server log contains warning:
WARN [ResourceContainer.invoker.nonDaemon-4] (rhq.modules.plugins.jbossas7.ASConnection)- We got a 500 with the following response body back: {"outcome" : "failed", "failure-description" : "JBAS014749: Operation handler failed: Service jboss.data-source-config.ExampleDS is already registered", "rolled-back" : true, "response-headers" : {"process-state" : "restart-required"}}
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Operations Netwrok (ON) 3.1.2
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6 management plug-in for JBoss ON
- Datasource resource configuration has been updated
- Current configuration page for datasource resource reports
The server needs a restart for the latest changes to come effective. - Datasource resource has been disabled
- Attempting to invoke the enable operation on the datasource resource
