Will upgrading BIND affect existing zone transfer configurations?

  • Will slave servers still be able to recieve zone updates & transfers from master after upgrading bind version from 9.2 to 9.8.2-0.17.rc1 in our master DNS server?

  • What are the best practices that should be followed while upgrading bind version on master and slave DNS servers?
