Can I load a non-Red Hat kernel module built against a different kernel?
Issue
- I need to test a kernel patch but the kernel version changed in the test kernel and we have non-Red Hat kernel modules.
- Can I have a test kernel without the kernel version change?
- Are there any tricks to get our kernel modules to load against a different kernel without rebuilding them?
- Is force-loading kernel modules supported?
