Bonded Infiniband interface comes up as mode 0 when SELinux is enabled

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • We have bonded Infiniband interfaces which incorrectly come up in bonding mode 0 (round-robin) when the system is booted with SELinux enabled in Enforcing mode with Targeted policy. When SELinux is disabled, the system boots with the bonding configuration in the desired mode.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
  • Mellanox's OFED stack (tested with both 1.5 and 2.0)
  • Bonded Infiniband network interfaces
  • SELinux in Enforcing mode with Targeted policy
