How to remove a leftover replica from LDAP

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Excess items exist in LDAP that need to be cleaned.
For example, LDAP contains an entry about a "ghost" replica host which should be removed long time ago.

    nsDS5ReplicaBindDN: cn=replication manager,cn=config
    nsDS5ReplicaBindDN: krbprincipalname=ldap/leftover.example.com@EXAMPLE.COM,cn=services,cn=accounts,dc=example,dc=com

The leftover.example.com is the host to be removed.

Environment
