  • system reboots with vmcore
  • panic happens in check_preempt_wakeup() or effective_load() routine

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7.6 and 7.7
  • The issue is seen prominently after upgrading to kernel 3.10.0-1062.7.1.el7
