When starting JBoss, we are seeing the exception 'CachedConnectionManager is not registered'

Issue

  • When starting JBoss we are seeing the following error:

    LifecycleException:  javax.management.InstanceNotFoundException: jboss.jca:service=CachedConnectionManager is not registered.
            at org.jboss.web.tomcat.service.jca.CachedConnectionValve.start(CachedConnectionValve.java:232)
            at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardPipeline.start(StandardPipeline.java:235)
            ...
