What is included in Active Thread count in JBoss ON?

Issue

  • In JON metrics seeing active thread counts more than what we set in server.xml file. In server.xml set to 250 but in metrics we are seeing more than 250 ,Seeing close to 350. Can you please help us to find what other threads are included in total active thread counts from metrics.

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.1.2
  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 4.3.x
