boothd-site startup logs error "[error] cannot change working directory to /var/lib/booth/cores" in a RHEL 8 High Availability cluster

Issue

  • When a booth-site resource starts, it logs the message [error] cannot change working directory to /var/lib/booth/cores.
Nov  3 01:28:49 node1 boothd-site[25387]: [info] BOOTH site 1.0 (build 1.0) daemon is starting

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (with the High Availability Add-on)
  • Booth ticket manager
