Resolution

Refer to the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform documentation for configuring the chrony time service at installation time, and for configuring chrony time service via Machine Config after installation.

Note: in OSD and ROSA it is not supported to configure the chrony time service.

Refer to enabling Network Time Security (NTS) NTP time synchronization in OpenShift 4 with chrony if NTS configuration is required.
