Issue

  • After changing the instance type of worker and infra nodes they are no longer registered to the cluster
03 14:38:45.095659   11097 kubelet_node_status.go:391] Error updating node status, will retry: error getting node "ip-10-0-0-1.node1.example.com": nodes "ip-10-0-0-1
  • Observed the same behavior as when stopping instance, changing instance type, then starting instance
