Apache error message is not directed to the log file configured by the ErrorLog directive inside VirtualHost.
Issue
- When httpd is configured as a reverse proxy,
ErrorLogdirective defined within VirtualHosts is not being honoured. - Virtual host error Logs are being sent over to the default virtual host's error log.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- httpd-2.2.3-65.el5_8.3 or below.
