Why does systemctl status output "Warning: Journal has been rotated since unit was started. Log output is incomplete or unavailable"?

Issue

I can see the following Warning message when checking the status by systemctl status

Warning: Journal has been rotated since unit was started. Log output is incomplete or unavailable.

What does this mean ?
Why does this message appear?
What should I do for the message?

i.e.

# systemctl status systemd-journald
