Unable to remove logical volume.

Issue

  • lvremove command fails to remove the lvm volume with the below error messages
  • Unable to remove unmounted logical volume.
root@hostname:# lvremove /dev/testvg/testlv
Logical volume /dev/testvg/testlv in use.

    • LVM
