Red Hat Fuse 7.4 on Karaf in Windows OS - Not able to run commands using bin/client.bat script.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • In Fuse 6.2, I could run this command to return version and verify fuse is running
bin\client.bat -h 127.0.0.1 "version"
  • In Red Hat Fuse 7.3, that command does not return the version in stdout with the following in stderr
org/jline/terminal/TerminalBuilder
  • With a line in fuse.log
2019-08-28 23:14:28,320 | INFO | 5cb8b]-nio2-thread-2 | o.a.s.s.s.ServerUserAuthService | 178 - org.apache.sshd.core - 1.7.0 | Session admin@/127.0.0.1:52306 authenticated
2019-08-28 23:14:28,320 | WARN | 5cb8b]-nio2-thread-2 | o.a.s.s.s.ServerSessionImpl | 178 - org.apache.sshd.core - 1.7.0 | exceptionCaught(ServerSessionImpl[admin@/127.0.0.1:52306])[state=Opened] IOException: The specified network name is no longer available.
  • In Red Hat Fuse 7.4, following error is found
C:\Development\fuse-karaf-7.4.0\fuse-karaf-7.4.0.fuse-740028-redhat-00001\bin>client.bat -h localhost version
Unknown option: -h0
Run with --help for usage
