Why is there a long delay before I get connected to rsh server, no matter what client I use?

Issue

  • When the client tried to get connect the server by rlogin:
[root@dial-client ~]# rlogin X.X.X.X
connect to address X.X.X.X: Connection refused
Trying krb4 rlogin...
connect to address X.X.X.X: Connection refused
trying normal rlogin (/usr/bin/rlogin)
  • There is a long delay before it gets connected to rsh server.
