What's the difference between EBWS and just putting JBoss WS web services as gateways in JBoss ESB ?

Could you please give us a short explain about the difference between ESB End Point Web Service, or ESB-based Web Services (EBWS), and common JBoss WS web service put in front of ESB service served as gateway?
