Inquiry - installing additional SAS drives

Issue

  • We have a requirement to install 2x1.2Tb SAS drives on a ProLiant DL560 Gen8 server and to use the space provided by these disks for /var/crash. These disks would be configured in RAID 0 configuration from hw RAID controller.

    Do we need to rebuild the initramfs once these new SAS drives have been installed?
