My environment is configured a specific MTU however I have other connections that require other MTU, how do I configure this?

Issue

Possible MTU mismatch issue in my network, such as:

  • My environment is configured for MTU 9000 however I have other connections that require other MTU, how do I configure this?
  • Jumbo frames set at interface / NIC level is affecting the packet delivery to upper layer application server
  • I have a requirement for 9000 MTU for my environment however certain connections require 1500 MTU
