Published podman container ports unreachable on host

Issue

• I can't reach published podman container ports from the host.
• Unable to curl exposed podman container port on host.
• Connection refused when using curl to connect to a published podman container port.

 # podman run -it -d --name testhttpd -p 8080:80 registry.redhat.io/rhscl/httpd-24-rhel7
 # curl localhost:8080
    curl: (7) Failed to connect to localhost port 8080: Connection refused
